The Grim Truth was RIGHT!!!!

Back in February, the Grim Truth attempted to warn its readers of the extreme danger that the villainous AMYCUS CARROW presented to the innocent children of Hogwarts. Now we see the tragic results of the school administration and the regime's determination to callously ignore these warnings: one precious child has been ripped from life by a fiend not fit to kneel and kiss the hem of her robes.

Wake up, Wizarding World!!! More will suffer and die if you do not rise up and shake this tyrannous yoke from your shoulders.

AMYCUS CARROW deserves more than a slap on the wrist, a mere stint in Azkaban. He deserves no less than the Dementor's kiss, if not his head on a pike on the New London Bridge, displayed as a warning to all. The Grim Truth stands in solidarity with those mourning this child's sad death--and we will stand shoulder to shoulder with all right-thinking people who raise up their full-throated cry for JUSTICE!

May the memory of Hannah Abbott keep us strong, and let her death not be in vain!!

Barty, I know you're upset but engaging this DogStar mongrel is only going to drive yourself to further distraction.

Lucius is livid, of course, that this call for Carrow's head comes at just the wrong moment, from just the wrong source. It has happened before and been not an insignificant factor to influence Our Lord to adjust His intended verdict.

If you wish to vent your frustration onto anyone, dear, I cannot think of a better target than the odious and vile Carrow himself. Unless you are already too close to bringing other important investigations to a successful arrest, in which case, by all means, finish the job.

I know Rod has already answered your private message to him, for he told me as much. Let me add that everyone involved in Raz's care has his swift recovery foremost in mind. I have been dividing my attention among him, my niece, and the Sisters of Witchcraft, who having lost one of their number naturally need help coping with the betrayal by their own teacher. If there is one bright lining to the cloud of tragedy surrounding the school, it is that we have agreed my guards need not accompany me about Hogwarts (though Hogsmeade is another matter).

But once Raz is back on the mend, believe me, we shall all celebrate his homecoming together.

Lucius and I plan to return to New London tomorrow; he to Court and to be on hand when tomorrow's Prophet appears. There's to be an interview with the Head Boy and I believe a few other related articles on the incident.

I cannot help but think that this makes three attacks on our family inside ten days. Intellectually, of course, I am quite aware that the attack on Raz so near his birthday has nothing to do with these Dogstar vermin - nor even, does an attack on Hydra coming so soon after they invoked her name in one of their vile diatribes. Rationally, I know this. It still strikes as an uncomfortable coincidence.

Do bring us good news as soon as ever you can.

I'm sure you're right, Narcissa; nonetheless, their audacity could not stand unrebuked. Carrow we must leave to Our Lord's handling.

As for the investigation, it's wait and watch for now. We have strong leads and have firm information to work from, so it's only a matter of time and tenacity. I'll be sure to pick up The Prophet while I'm in town tomorrow morning--long enough to spar and report and stop at Marlborough for certain necessary items.

I understand how it must seem to you that troubles are descending in flocks, and I hope to have genuinely good news for you soon.

No, I suppose you would not have engaged had you felt otherwise, though I know Lucius and certain others have agreed not to add their names to any of these posts, as it simply increases their notoriety.

And trouble is not the only thing descending in flocks. Did you see your foster-sister's announcement? I am not certain I shall be able to meet my obligation to Witch Weekly today, if I must work in a visit to the St Mungo's delivery ward on top of everything else.

I get why they're saying this now, but I just sort of hate seeing them using Hannah like this. They didn't know her at all, and they're making her death a way to, I dunno, score some kind of points.
