As for the unfortunate incident which has befallen our most beloved older brother, we would like to say

We had nothing to do with it.

We were in a detention with professor Acton, which lasted the whole evening.

That is not to say, however, that it isn't a corking good prank! Congratulations to whoever pulled it successfully.

This is George here, just popping in to say that I had nothing to do with the detention, it was all Fred's fault.
He corrected Acton in the middle of class and she gave us both a detention. Which is completely unfair, as I had done nothing. Of course, when I brought this up with Acton, she said that she didn't care and gave us both an extra detention for questioning the teacher.
